Some of my favorite characters in movies are the pathetic ones. I watch the characters that never say the right things, act like idiots on accident in front of the person they are madly in love with, and just never win, and I love those characters. I sympathize with them, and I know they won’t win, but I want them to so badly. However, I keep wondering though if that translates into real life. Am I allowed to be pathetic and have everyone still love me? (note: this is not the question Am I pathetic. I think I’ve more than answered that)
