I heard Bush issue a statement yesterday saying that he may push for the military to be more involved in emergency management (I suppose mainly because FEMA has been such a joke). Now I’m not suggesting his intentions are bad, but is that just a little too Nazi-esque for you? So now when a hurricane rolls through, the victims not only have the high winds and rain to look forward to, but a bunch of guys with guns who will be “keeping the peace?” Should the military start handling our health care too? No wait, that may actually be a good idea.
