That Way

This is one of the longer poems I have ever written. This is not about the same girl as before, although it sounds kind of like it is. But different girl. Much later in life. Much better impact. We’re still friends. However, I wrote this whole thing basically directly to her, and gave it to her like a letter. So it’s pretty personal, but most of it is decently written, so it’s worth a read.

Rating: Good

That Way

Tiny black dots on blue circles
meet with mine
hold, 2, 3
shift
Why do we both move?
Why can’t we hold?
I just want to meet
Stare
The amazing things that happen
in that moment
somehow we communicate
without words
without motion
just existing together
we’ve never spoken
but we have talked
