I heard a great idea this morning. So that weird call in the White Sox/Angels game last night could have been something caused by the baseball Gods, but one radio announcer suggested that this is all part of the conspiracy against the Cubs. First, you had to have the Cubs choke in 2003 when they were SO close. Then the next year, you up the stakes by having the Red Sox end their curse. Now this year, what could possibly be worse for a Cubs fan than a Cardinals/White Sox World Series?

I found that quite entertaining, though I do have to admit the circumstances are just a little too perfect. Although if the White Sox win it all, I really don’t mind. In fact I would be very happy for them. Cardinals, on the other hand.
