Ever had two extremely different songs one right after another when listening to your ipod on random? Just had Bad Religion “Streets of America” followed immediately by Michael W. Smith “Everybody Free.” Anybody top that?
This happens to me from time to time. Today’s weirdest: “Rock Lobster” by the B52s to “Oceano” by Josh Groban. My problem is less one of weird progressions of songs and more about having clients write me and my IM away message cheerfully telling them that I’m currently playing something like “Leper Messiah” by Metallica.
One time I had Over the Rhine’s Happy to Be So followed by a cover of the same song. OTR was better.
the 1812 overture followed by Bad Habit by Offspring…too weird.
