Anyway, everytime my birthday comes around I try to think of ways to make it “special” and with each passing moment of it being just another normal day, I grow frustrated at my lack of doing anything “special.” Well this year is really no different, as I search for special things to do, but just worked for a little while, heading out to dinner, heading to an open mic. This may seem like birthday plans, but it’s baically the plans I would have had tonight anyway.
The thing that does make it special though, is that I’m finally cracking open this bottle of Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast I’ve been saving for a special occasion. And it’s everything I dreamed it would be.
So all in all, pretty good birthday really. Don’t know if I’d really want anything else.

I just got off the phone with the folks at Founder’s and they said they’d like to officially make July 22nd “Morgan Foster Breakfast Stout Day.”
They are working on some cross promotional products and event tie ins. Most notably is “Stouty” a big beer bottle mascot that says celebratory phrases like “Morgan’s birthday? Have a beer!” and “Morgan could kick your ass in a bar fight…Drink more Stout!”
He’s mostly for the kids.

Happy belated Birffday Morgan! Today being my birthday you can celebrate for both of us – I’ve never liked nor particularly enjoyed my birthday, but I am sometimes envious of those who do enjoy their birthdays. You and my wife being the two people I know that fill that roll to a T.
So I hope you enjoyed your birthday and if you’d like, you can celebrate tonight for me (although I will be doing something tonight I do enjoy – playing a softball doubleheader).
