Year in Review

Well since midnight came and went to celebrate the new year, and most bloggers around the world have had some kind of 2005 in review, I figured I’d do the same. However, I do want to say that New Year’s is the most disappointing holiday of them all. There’s so much excitement to see a stupid ball drop (at least for us Eastern time folks, though I suppose you could just Tivo it if you’re out in California) so we can all count down, kiss someone, and then realize that our lives have not changed in the slightest. I can’t help but laugh when Dick Clark goes live to Mario Lopez or whatever other washed up actor they have who’s standing in Time Square, and they always say (and it is the exact same every year) “It’s amazing Dick. Everyone down here is so excited, you can just feel it in the air…etc.” What are they so excited about? People just need a reason to yell “Woo!” every once in a while? Oh well, who am I to judge?

Anyway, so I figured just for fun I’d put some of my favorite things from 2005, in no particular order.

  1. So I know 2006 is only days underway but I just saw a preview for Underworld Evolution and I’ve got a guess at what might be next years most entertaining movie for you. I mean it’s not my cup of tea but it’s definitely got Morgan written all over it. Come on it even has Derek Jacobi in it!

  2. I thought the release date was too bad, it totally fits the criteria for the morgan, josh, and Brad film…
